The Bissell 2080 has a sleek upright design that is extremely easy for anyone to maneuver around the room with. Not only that, its smaller size takes up very little space in a hall or utility room closet for use the next time you need it.

Quick Assembly

Assembling the Bissell 2080 is a quick and easy process. Simply slide together the upper body to the lower body and secure with a Phillips screwdriver. Next, slide the handle down onto the upper body and attach it with the included screw. Finally, set the water/solution tank down on the back of the machine and you are ready to go.

4-Amp Motor

The 4-amp motor in this Bissell is surprisingly powerful. Yes, I would have liked to have seen a 12-amp motor in this machine, but I'll admit that the smaller size is not a huge issue at all. It features more than enough power to scrub your carpets, while also providing ample suction to get the water up as well.

DirtLifter PowerBrush

With this Bissell QuickSteamer comes a roller styled powerbrush to deep clean both carpets and rugs. It gets deep down into the fibers to quickly remover the dirt and grime. There's also a brush on/off switch for those times when you only want suction and not brushing action.

Dual Water Tanks

Somewhat surprising in a machine of its size, this Bissell model comes with dual tanks, which I like a lot over the 2-in-1 design. Both the water tank and the dirty water recovery tank hold 1/2 gallon each.

The clean water tank sits on the back of the machine, while the recovery tank sits directly on the base of the machine. They are both very easy to remove and put back on, and the tank size is just right for what this steam cleaner is designed for.

Weighs 12 Pounds

A nice benefit with this particular model is its weight. At just 12 Lbs. it's easy for anyone to use around the house or on the stairs. Some of your bigger home carpet cleaners can weigh upwards of 30 pounds or more. So this is a very lightweight unit that makes cleaning a little easier.

8.5 Inch Cleaning Path

The 2080 features an 8.5 inch cleaning path, which is smaller than your larger carpet cleaning machines, but works well with what this model was designed for. It works great for apartments, condos and smaller homes, as well as single rooms in your home. If you have a larger home of say, 1200 sq feet or more, then this machine will require more time to clean than the larger cleaners will due to its smaller width.

Removable Nozzle

Another nice feature to this machine is how its nozzle can be removed for easy cleanup after you've finished. All you need to do is pop open the front cover and remove the roller brush to clean.

20 Foot Power Cord With Quick Release

There's a 20 foot power cord to make it possible to clean most any room without having to unplug and use multiple outlets in order to clean the carpets. They have also added a quick cord release lever at the top of the power cord storage.
